Duelgeek
A tennis app that helps Vancouver players find courts, players, and matches nearby. I turned the client's Lovable prototype into a production MVP on Next.js and Supabase, from the match-up system and Mapbox courts map to launch on Vercel.

Overview
Duelgeek helps tennis players in Vancouver find nearby courts, other players, and matches. It’s an MVP, launching with an early-access waitlist that has already drawn 150+ players.
The client came to me with a site generated in Lovable. I took it from prototype to production on Next.js and Supabase.
What I did
- Design and early access: updated the design and refined the current early-access page, the first thing new players see
- From Lovable to production: optimized the generated code so it holds up as a real product
- Match-ups: finalized the system that matches players up for games
- The courts map: optimized the Mapbox GL map players use to find nearby courts and interact with them
- Email and notifications: sent through Resend
- Launch: deployed the site to Vercel and configured its DNS to point the domain at it

An MVP that brings an AI storyteller to the in-person D&D table, so anyone can play. I built it solo on React and FastAPI, with the OpenAI API narrating each scene and DALL·E illustrating the story.
