Hi, I'm Huzaifa.
I'm a full-stack engineer in Pakistan, and I like owning a product end to end: the desktop app, the backend, the cloud it runs on, and the pipeline that ships it.
Most of my work sits where three things meet: desktop apps that run all day on people's machines, the real-time backends behind them, and cloud infrastructure that's secure by default. I'm happiest owning all three, from the first commit to the domain it ships on.
Over the past few years that's meant rewriting a desktop tracker in Rust to take its installer from 130 MB to 30 MB, scaling a platform for a 200K-player community through two migrations, defining entire AWS environments in Terraform, and shipping AI features on the OpenAI API, both for my own team's products and for clients.
I also lead and mentor developers, through code reviews, technical guidance, and Claude-powered agents that help us build and review faster.

Huble
Time tracking and invoicing for teams. I lead development across the whole product, rebuilt the desktop tracker in Rust (130 MB down to 30 MB, with offline sync), and built its Paddle billing, real-time backend, and security-first infrastructure.

Dayonai
Secure virtual workstations on AWS, fully defined in Terraform. Adding someone to Google Workspace gives them a locked-down machine and the right AWS permissions for their role, automatically, all inside a private VPC with keyless OIDC deployments.

No Hesi
The platform behind No Hesi's modded Assetto Corsa servers and its 200K+ member racing community. I led it through two migrations and built its desktop launcher, in-game chat overlay, league badges, and Discord-synced subscriptions.

Duelgeek
A tennis app that helps Vancouver players find courts, players, and matches nearby. I turned the client's Lovable prototype into a production MVP on Next.js and Supabase, from the match-up system and Mapbox courts map to launch on Vercel.

Secure by default
Databases off the public internet, no long-lived cloud keys, every secret in one place. Security is designed in from the first commit, not bolted on before launch.
Automate the boring parts
Provisioning, permissions, deploys, and data syncs should happen on their own, so nobody has to remember them and nothing drifts.
Let the numbers decide
I pick tools for what they do for the product, like a smaller install, a faster page, or one less dependency, not because they’re fashionable.
Leave the team stronger
Code reviews, mentoring, and tooling such as AI review agents, so the next developer moves faster and the codebase stays easy to change.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what clients and hiring teams usually ask first.
Ask me something elseWhat kind of projects do you take on?
Products that need someone across the stack: desktop apps in Rust and Tauri, web platforms with Next.js, SvelteKit, and Nest.js, AWS infrastructure in Terraform, and AI features built on the OpenAI API. I do my best work owning a feature or a whole product end to end.
Are you open to full-time roles?
Yes. I’m open to full-time roles, either remote or on-site, and I’m happy to relocate for the right one. I also take on freelance projects. Send me the role and a bit about the team, and I’ll get back to you.
What time zone are you in?
I’m in Pakistan (UTC+5). I keep a few hours of overlap with US and European working days for calls, and work async the rest of the time.
How do you price work?
Either way works: a fixed price for well-scoped projects, or hourly for ongoing and open-ended work. Tell me what you’re building and I’ll suggest the better fit.
How do we stay in touch during a project?
Through whatever your team already uses, like Slack or email, with regular progress updates and demos of working software rather than long status reports.
Who owns the code? Will you sign an NDA?
You own everything I build for you, and I’m happy to sign an NDA before we get into details.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. I can stay on for fixes, monitoring, and new features after launch, either as ongoing hourly work or a monthly retainer.
